Sending Lots of Love

I enjoy playing with all sorts of mediums.   I’m always inspired by the pencil colouring of Yana Smakula.

Today I’m playing with no-line pencil colouring with my Polychromos pencils.  The beautiful leaf images were stamped with Ink on 3.  It’s the perfect ink for any no-line colouring!

All my blending was done with just the pencils, no other mediums or tools involved.  It’s not bad for a first try, but like anything else…practice, practice, practice 🙂

I recently treated myself to the new Tim Holtz Glass Mat.  Oh how I love that mat!  And I found it perfect for colouring on as there are absolutely no lumps and bumps underneath.

No Line Prismas

EEF21873-B82A-42DB-AE8A-4FB8A9E4D4DBDay 23 of the 30 Day Coloring Challenge. Today is an experiment for me. First time I’ve tried no line colouring with Prismacolor pencils. And the start to my Christmas card stash.

The poinsettia image was stamped with Ink on 3 No Line Coloring/Detail Ink. First time using it, and I quite like how it works.

I have no words of wisdom for you about this technique. Just flew by the seat of my pants, adding in different colours and blending and blending.

A die cut sentiment and some gold glass beads complete the card.

Back soon with more my friends…
