Mr. & Mrs.

01133D28-75F8-4A7C-9BAA-9E7C46290E79My cousin asked me to make a card for his daughter’s wedding which is today.

Thought my jumping off point would be this gorgeous paper from the Simon Says Stamp June Card Kit. Looked through my stamps  for floral and leaf stamps with the same feel. Next I played with some of my Zig markers to approximate the colours. All were fussy cut.

The frame, flower and leaves were all heat embossed in silver, as was the sentiment. My usual smattering of sequins complete the card. Happy to have another card made for the 30 Day Coloring Challenge.

Back soon with more my sweet friends.

Paper:  Moda Scrap, vellum and Canson Bristol

Ink:  Versamark

Stamps:  Ellen Hutson Mondo Sakura; and Altenew Hibiscus Bouquet and Super Script 2

Water Coloured Shaker

82D3F67B-1BCB-4776-BBC0-87C748D2CE0AIt’s Day 3 of Kathy Racoosin’s 30 Day Colouring Challenge. I’ve has this card in my head for a while and decided that today was the day.

The background is stencil mono print made with Distress Oxides. I have a  tutorial  on Splitcoaststampers if you’d like to try this. It’s quick and easy.

Then I watercoloured the floral image along with some extra leaves from the same Studio Katia Set. Next they were fussy cut.

I used a Dual Stitched Rectangle Die to make my shaker card, along with some beautiful sequins.

The sentiment was added to the front of the acetate window with Stazon Ink.

Pastel Sakura Blossoms

F2C43920-80F5-4992-8353-873BACED1F9AHello sweet friends!  Today I’m playing with this gorgeous Mondo Sakura by Julie Ebersole.

A gloomy, rainy day like today calls for some colour!  After stamping the image in Versafine Clair Morning Mist, I pulled out my Prismacolor pencils and got to work.  When all my colouring was done I added a bit of shading and then dotted some white Sharpie pen on the stamens.

The sentiment is from the same set and was stamped in Versafine Clair Nocturne. These inks are quickly becoming my go to inks.  I love the crisp, sharp images I get with them!

A smattering of confetti and done.  This is my first card for The 30 Day Coloring Challenge.
