Sweetest Sunshine

July17youarethesweetest

It’s a gorgeous sunny day so I wanted to make something that feels like sunshine!

I’m hung up on stencil mono print backgrounds these days.  I love the texture and the feel.  And it makes for such a quick and easy card.  Do the mono print, stamp the flowers and colour them, and add a sentiment.  And my obsession with flowers continues with this new set from Altenew which I adore!

Played with some different colours today.  Honestly, I’m not a fan of yellow, but how was I going to achieve a sunny look without it, right?

This came together in less than 15 minutes, my kind of card 🙂

Back soon with more my sweet friends…

Paper:  Neenah Solar White and Canson Watercolor

Ink:  VersaFine Clair Nocturne and Distress Oxides in Wild Honey, Cracked Pistachio and Peacock Feathers

Stamps:  Altenew Sweetest Peas

Misc:  TCW Floral Radar stencil, water mister, Zig Real Clean Color brush pen, Little Things from Lucy’s Cards sequins in Warm Golden Glow
