This card has more layers than I usually like, but it works.
My Nuvo Shimmer Powders showed up today, so of course I wanted to play. After swatching them on some Bristol paper I wanted to see if they played nice with some black cardstock.
I chose three different stamps from Altenew’s Crown Bloom set and heat embossed each, die cut them and then mixed up a bit of the powders with some water. Very little is needed…it’s highly concentrated and has such a lovely shimmer.
The background was made by stamping the leaf image repeatedly and adding a bit of washi tape. The sentiment was heat embossed on some black cardstock and I added a smattering if sequins for a pop of colour.
My photos will be different for a while. I’m using my camera for photos and editing as our PC is on its last legs…poor thing. Also using my camera to post to my blog.
Back soon with more my sweet friends…
