Hello everyone! Welcome to Day 2 of the Add A Little Dazzle and Neat and Tangled Blog Hop! A fun blog hop sure to inspire you along with the added bonus of prizes.
Neat and Tangled has a wonderful array of stamps, digital images, dies as well as accessories like the sequins I’ve used today. And Add a Little Dazzle carries a fabulous line of craft metal sheets that provides a distinctive look to your projects and cards.
Let’s get started shall we?
I’ve used the fun and fabulous Neat and Tangled Party Dots stamp set today to make a shaker card with some Neat and Tangled sequins. And I’ve used an Add a Little Dazzle Perfect Peacock craft metal sheet that’s been embossed.
If you haven’t tried making a shaker card before here’s how. The shaker element of the card has been created by cutting two rectangular layers of white card stock and stamping the bottom one with the large circular image. Then I cut an aperture in the top rectangle and backed it with acetate. After using foam tape around the entire image, I dropped in several of the copper sequins and sealed up the shaker portion of the card. Also stamped the dot images up the left side of the rectangle before adding the die cut stars. Stay tuned tomorrow to see where my shooting stars came from 🙂 The sentiment comes from the same set and has been fussy cut and added with more foam tape.
