I added embossing paste to my card base with a stencil. Didn’t want nice clean lines, so I used my palette knife to make little marks in the paste and spread it around a bit before it dried. Then I placed the stencil over it again, rubbed Versamark ink here and there all over it and then heat embossed with the same embossing powder you see on the focal image. Didn’t want complete coverage…just hit and miss.
And, speaking of the focal image, it’s been stamped with Versamark onto vellum and heat embossed. I used it for the hearts too. I stamped a small piece of the Scarlet Red craft metal sheet with Stazon and allowed it to dry. Then, I ran it through my Big Shot Pro with an embossing folder to get even more texture…cool look right?
A simple stamped sentiment (love this set from Altenew!) and done!
