Graphic Christmas

Well, it’s snowing yet again…so why not get in the spirit and make a Christmas card right? *grin*

This is a very simple design, that’s really easy to duplicate in short order if you’re under the gun to get some cards completed.  The graphic tree image has been stamped in gray pigment ink and heated embossed with clear embossing powder.  Then the bottom part of “Christmas” was colored with a Copic marker.

The card base was clear embossed to add more shine.  The star was punched from the same heat embossed paper and popped up on foam adhesive.  A few sequins and done!

Here’s what I used:
Paper:  SU! Real Red and Whisper White
Ink:  Avery Elle Fog and Versamark
Stamps:  MFT Seasonal Sentiments and Hero Arts Tweed Pattern
All the other stuff:  clear embossing powder, heat gun, embossing buddy, star punch, foam adhesive, Pretty Pink Posh sparkling clear sequins, Copic:  R29

Challenges entered:
Merry Monday #101:  red, gray and white
Addicted to Stamps and More #88:  holiday

Back soon with more my friends…

  1. Love it! The clean, graphic style is really super. Love the embossed background and matching star, and the way you've coloured the letters to match. Thanks so much for playing along with ASM this week!

  2. Fabulous!! 🙂 Love all the embossing … the chevrons really add shine and texture to the background and I love that you've used the same for the star. The added red at the bottom of Christmas is so creative! Love your sequins … perfectly placed as usual. 🙂 Loll xx

  3. Wonderful addition to emboss the star and red panel. The card is gorgeous. That “Christmas” sentiment really caught my eye.
Glad to know how you did that.
