Wishing You…

Over at Splitcoast today, it’s the Free For All Challenge…using glitter.  Who doesn’t love glitter?  It really adds some pizzazz to your creations doesn’t it?  And, it gets all over your face, in your hair, in the dog’s fur…ah well…’tis the season!

I’ve used this Viva la Verve! Sketch Challenge by Teresa Kline:

I started out with a Naturals White card base.  Then a rectangle of Blue Bayou topped with some distressed and inked designer paper.  I added some Stickles to the centers of each of the little red snowflakes on this layer for some added sparkle.  A strip of Cherry Cobbler topped with more distressed and inked designer paper comes next.  Then a small rectangle of Blue Bayou underneath a layer of designer paper that…yes you guessed it..was distressed and inked.  I tucked a strip of the Verve Pennant Trim in Cherry Cobbler in behind this rectangle.

The sentiment has been done in two parts…one part stamped on the Verve Scroll and one part on the smallest rectangle of designer paper.  The scroll has been popped up with dimensionals.

Then I added some fun embellishments…poinsettias, a gold star, a leaf and three little glitter dots.

Here’s what I used:
Paper:  SU! Naturals White, Blue Bayou, Cherry Cobbler and Lily Bee Jingle
Ink:  SU! Cherry Cobbler, Blue Bayou and Distress Ink in Pumice Stone
Stamps:  Verve Joyous Noel and Verve Scroll Plain Jane
All the other stuff:  Big Shot Pro, Verve A Cut Above Scroll Die, Verve A Cut Above Pennant Trim Die, distressing tool, sponges, craft mat, Petaloo poinsettias, Prima gold star and leaf, Recollections red adhesive glitter dots, dimensionals, Xmas Red Stickles

It’s Friday again…where does the time go?  Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
