Sparkling Read Christmas Tree

A really quick and simple card for the Free For All Challenge over at Splitcoast and no that’s not a typo!  LOL!  It’s a read tree right?

I started out with a SU! Real Red card base.  Next comes a piece of SU! Basic Black that’s been dry embossed.  A corner rounder punch was used on both layers.

The tree was made with strips of retired designer paper from SU!  Each strip was distressed and sponged and the bottom was curled up.  Then I just added little Recollections Glitter Adhesive dots here and there all over the tree.  Three more are added to the left for just a little more sparkle…can’t have enough sparkle can you???

The tree topper is a punched star topped by yet another glitter adhesive dot.  Easy peasy right?

Here’s what I used:
Paper:  SU!  Basic Black, SU! Real Red and retired SU! designer paper
Ink:  SU! Real Red
Stamps: none
All the other stuff:  Big Shot Pro, Tim Holtz Christmas Background embossing folder, distressing tool, sponges, star punch, Recollections Glitter Adhesive dots in red, glue dots

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
