A Little Bit Country

This has a bit of a country feel, no?

For another of the HYCCT challenges to use items that spell HYCCT on your card, the CAS challenge to use plaid and the TLC challenge to add dimension.

I stamped the sunflower image,  colored it with markers, cut out the leaves a bit and added some Stickles for a little bling and texture.  Next I stamped a piece of Teal card stock with some Distress Ink to create a plaid pattern.  Then I used the heart punch border to create a fence like feel.

And finally, added a bit of twine.  That’s it…easy peasy!

Here’s what I used:
Paper:  Gina K. heavy weight card stock
Ink:  Memento Tuxedo Black and Crushed Olive Distress Ink
Stamps:  Verve Hope Blooms, Impression Obsession Cover-A-Card,  and Stampington and Company Medium Sunflower
All the other stuff:  Yellow Stickles; Walnut Stain Distress Stickles; SU! Barely Banana, Daffodil Delight, River Rock, Old Olive and Always Artichoke markers; bakers twine, cutting mat, craft knife and Martha Stewart Lattice Heart Deep Edger Border punch

That’s it for today!  Back soon with more!
