First, I cut one circle in Whisper White with a Circle Nestie die and then the outer circle in Brushed Silver with the Lacy Circles die. Then I temporarily adhered a 1″ circle of scrap cardstock over top. My focal image has been sponged with SU’s Baja Breeze, Not Quite Navy, Night of Navy and Basic Gray. Then the entire circle was heat set. Why you ask? If you don’t, you’ll end up with embossing powder stuck every you don’t want it. Next the bg trees were stamped in Basic Gray, followed by the foreground trees in Encore silver and then it was embossed with silver embossing powder. Finally, the sentiment was stamped across the circle. Three simple rhinestone brads adorn the right hand corner.
Three different types of ribbon/cording were layered down the left side of the card. And then a simple bow was added made with the cording and the sheer ribbon. It was fastened to the card with a brad.
This is made on a standard A2 card base in Basic Black. The next layer of Basic Gray has been sponged, to deepen the color. The designer paper in the background has been stamped and embossed with silver also.
